No thanks to the IT employees of the RI school district who unceremoniously dumped our alumni site without so much as a “heads up”!
It will take a few weeks to get it all re-assembled but as long as I don’t step in front of a bus, it’ll happen. We shall prevail!
REMINDER – If anybody changes any contact information, especially email addresses, please drop us a note at the CONTACT US link above. Our recent emailing had 15 rejects! We want to stay in touch.
What a whirlwind of a weekend! For those of you who were unable to attend – you missed a great birthday party. Even though the parade was cancelled, we had one of our own! The Varsity football game was postponed due to lightening, but we headed down to Jake O’s to begin our party early. Jake O’s was expecting us as early as 8 PM in case of bad weather. They provided us delicious hors d’oeuvres!
Saturday began at 2 PM with a cruise around town in Lee Nelson’s army deuce and half truck! We had a blast, reminiscing and school songs were sung! At 5 PM we gathered at Jake O’s again for a yummy buffet meal with birthday cake and Whitey’s personal size malts for dessert. Everything went off smoothly from the decorations, menu, Lee (MC) greeting with guitar playing and singing, impromptu fun-filled performance by Glenn Hunter on aging, silent auction, and chatter, chatter, chatter! We sure didn’t need background tunes for this party.
Photos are HERE.

The 45th is history now but what a great event/party! HERE are the first group of photos taken both Friday and Saturday night and long with the CLASS PHOTO.
A nice article about the 4th in the QC TIMES.
In addition, here are 2 short videos to remember the weekend by. PAUL MEINCKE memories as emcee and THE NIGHT PEOPLE who rocked the night away for us. Both made it seem like it WAS 1968 again!
