70th Birthday Party – Canceled :-(

Dear Classmates,

It’s been an unusual year so far and our reunion/birthday committee voted to cancel the celebration of our 70th birthdays this year because of the coronavirus.  Our birthday party was scheduled to be celebrated on Saturday, July 18 the day before the Don Wright Memorial Golf Outing, which also got canceled due to this pandemic.  It’s just not worth the risk of the unknown as far as spreading this virus, and who knows Illinois may still require the wearing of face masks, social distancing of 6 feet and not allowing gatherings of over 50 people by mid July.

We have high hopes that we’ll get to gather and party next year.  It may be more fun to celebrate in 2021 as we’ll have settled into being 70 and treasure each other’s friendship even more deeply!!

Stay well friends,

Reunion Committee
